As stated in the main page the 2.5.1 version supports Firefox 1.5 (although previous versions should work) Safari 3, Opera 9.5 and Camino in the Mac, so check that your browser is up to date, that javascript is enabled and that you are using the latest FCKeditor.
I have the same problem. Every time I try to same the editor content it produces a request.form validation error.
I'm using the 2.5 version of the editor and all browsers work fine except safari on a mac. The safari version is 3.04 (s23.12.2), this is pretty much the very latest version of safari as it had patchs applied in January.
I cant find anything on here to help me, this problem is a fair pain for my particular client as they have many mac users.
No. Clearly it's not the same problem because they did state that it didn't work in any browser in their Mac, (and they didn't provide any further info to really understand the problem because it's clear that it does work as I stated in those browsers)
On the other side, you say that the problem is a request.form validation error, so the editor seems to be working, (at least editing does work), and you should give us more info about what's the error. Have you tried with a form without FCKeditor?
