I am trying to check to see if the user needs to save before exiting and I designed my check using IE and it worked fine. When I "finished" I checked firefox (v3.0.4) it wouldn't work, it always said there were unsaved changes. I debugged and found that when using firefox it was switching the order of the attributes (hspace, height, alt) of the IMG tags. So no matter what you did, when you went to exit, the comparison was always false. It wasn't the fact that it wanted them in a certain order which would be okay, it just seemingly randomly re-arranged the order.
I was using FCK 2.4 so I upgraded to 2.6.3, same story.
I found this post, but it didn't fix my issue.

Any ideas on this? You can see this easily by using firefox and toggling source view. It may be subtle but it will be different each time.
example (note the alt tag)
<img hspace="3" align="right" width="108" vspace="3" src="https://marketing.pdswebpro.com/marketing_pdswebpro_com/Image/alphateam.jpg" alt="alphateam.jpg" /> <img hspace="3" align="right" width="108" vspace="3" alt="alphateam.jpg" src="https://marketing.pdswebpro.com/marketing_pdswebpro_com/Image/alphateam.jpg" />
