In IE, when I highlight something, and hit the center button to align what I highlight, it puts a <p> around a VERY BIG block (and not the block I highlighted) and centers the whole thing!
For example:
---------------------
line1<br /><br />
line 2<br /><br />
line 3<br /><br />
---------------------
When I highlight the line1 and hit the center button, it generates code like this:
---------------------
<p align="center">line1<br /><br />line 2<br /><br />line 3<br /><br /></p>
---------------------
I don't want to center the 2nd and 3rd line. Just the stuff I highlighted.
In Firefox, this works correctly, as it generates:
---------------------
<div style="text-align: center;">line1<br /></div>
<br />line2<br /><br />line3<br />
---------------------
In Firefox, it uses div - which behave correctly.
How do I get IE to behave like Firefox?
Thanks!
