IE resize element width why its height also changed

I open the ckeditor in ie8, and resize div element width use resize hanlder ,i find its height also changed ,and add a fixed value .all elements have this problem,

can anybody help me ?Thanks in advance

IE resize element width why its height also changed

That is a feature if IE and not CKEditor. When you resize an element in IE it sets both the hieght and width.
