IE 6.0 Bulleted List Issue

Hi, If you copy and past some text from word into IE with ForcePasteAsPlainText=true, when you highlight part of the text and try and add some bullet points it adds a single bullet point to the whole bit of text that you just copied and pasted. It treating the whole text as one list item. This is not a problem in firefox which displays the popup window to clean the text. Any Ideas how I can get round it.
