Hello there... I'm new here, but have used FCKeditor once or twice before.
Thing I was wondering... I make custom CMSs for clients for their sites. I have used FCKeditor before on a CMS, but never got to involved with it (as I weren't sure how!) ... before, I just stripped out the image button of FCKeditor, as I didn't know how to use it really, and I didn't want all the options that appear in the pop box for my user to use.
I would really really love to know how to allow a user to edit text using FCKeditor for a page, but also allow them to upload an image and display that where ever they like within the text their editing. The site I am working on is kind of like an article site, so it's important for the user to be able to upload an image and place it where ever they like within the text.
Could anybody donate some time to telling me how this exactly works? Some kind of step-by-step thingy? Once I know, then I'll know... if that makes sense. I really want this to be as easy as humaningly possible for my client to use... Before all this, I had just a normal separate PHP upload page that I wrote for people to attach images to a page, but couldn't allow them to place the image within the text - which I think FCKeditor will allow me to do? (i think)
I'm using PHP 5, by the way... Thank you in advance for any help/info/experience on this issue... Cheers!
