How to remove styles once set?

If I use the Style dropdown to set a style for a span of text, how do I then go back to plain text for that selection? I can't see an icon on the toolbar that will do it.

Do I have to somehow include a "None" option in the dropdown?

Of course, it would help if I read the help pages. All I have to do is click the same entry in the dropdown again, and it removes the style.
