Is there any possibility how to find the status of FCKeditor before is created. I use ReplaceTextarea() method to creating FCKeditor instance in case the user click on the icon, but another icon is for loading text into editor. So in that situation a need to know if editor was created, so I can use this:
var oEditor = FCKeditorAPI.GetInstance('text');
oEditor.SetHTML(text);
but if the editor wasnt still created so I have to use this
document.getElementById('text').innerHTML = text;
treeFCKeditor.ReplaceTextarea();
Any ideas?
thanks for help

Re: How to find if the FKCeditor was created?

same problem
FCKeditorAPI is not defined

or
Re: How to find if the FKCeditor was created?
the first seems not function, but the second could be better i use this
and i hope it will be ok,
but only the small problem the name of global variable oEditor must be declared at this name, it is not very good, i am afraid of any other process which could rewrite this variable, the singleton method would by fine, but before creating FCK is FCKeditorAPI unreachable, so i cant get instance of FCKeditor object with preferences of "text"
