The editor works like a normal TEXTAREA field. So the editor data is posted together with the other fields data when the form where it is placed is posted. Just handle it as it is a normal field.
i have similar problem, but i need reference to html data _before_ submit, from javascript.
i tried to reference to iframe element eg.: document.forms[0].document.location - it works, i can read location (it's fckeditor.html, of course), but CANNOT get any of iframe inner elements especially: document.forms[0].document.objContent (it holds editor activex and content in property: objContent.DOM.body.innerHTML)
yep, i've found the bug - you need to call this function after document init. so, plain html is in property: document.forms[0].document.objContent.DOM.body.innerHTML

when i use document.formulaire_saisie[5].document.location i can see mypage.php and no fckeditor.html and when i use document.formulaire_saisie[0].document.objContent.DOM.body.innerHTML i have an error: ... is null or not an object.
Then you will be able to use : document.frames["i" + instanceName"].objContent.DOM.body.innerHTML to get the HTML content from your own form ie : document.formulaire_saisie[5].value = document.frames["i" + instanceName"].objContent.DOM.body.innerHTML

RE: How do I retrieve the html?
not
document.frames["i" + instanceName"].objContent.DOM.body.innerHTML
... sorry !
RE: How do I retrieve the html?
For that you will need to to update fckeditor.js and add an id and a name on the IFRAME Tag with id == name and id != instanceName.
For example :
IFRAME id="i' + instanceName + '" name="i' + instanceName + '" src= .....
Then you will be able to use :
document.frames["i" + instanceName"].objContent.DOM.body.innerHTML to get the HTML content from your own form ie :
document.formulaire_saisie[5].value = document.frames["i" + instanceName"].objContent.DOM.body.innerHTML
Hope this will help you.
