An obvious question but I can't find any reference to it - Namely how do I install CKFinder into an existing wiki, in particular MGTD. Is it the same as for FCKEditor (which I did add to a few of my wikis in the past with not too many problems but I do not remember how).
It'd be a godsend if someone can point me to something that will help me through (with a little more hand holding than I suspect most psoters on this forum require).
I am aware that it is a release candidate at this stage but from what I gather it is pretty robust.
Thanks

Re: How do I install CKEditor?
I recall that it was not just a simple import from backstage. I already have some of my wikis using fckeditor, with the fckeditor folder setup and having done the necessary hand editing of a few tiddlers. While I can't recall how I did it, I do recall that I had some trouble with getting the wysiwyg tiddler menu item in place.
I can't for the life of me find the steps I used to make it all happen. Does anyone have something along the lines of "easy guide to adding fck-wysiwyg for the itnellectually challenged."
Re: How do I install CKEditor?
After a few days of seeing how it all hangs together I intend to post a wrap up here on how to add fckeditor to mGTD so that, firstly, I can find it easily when I need it in future, and secondly, for anyone else who couldn't find the answer in a digestable fashion elsewhere.
As an aside, I figure that mGTD working mostly by clever use of standard tags makes it quite safe to put FCKEditor into mGTD as html code shouldn't be able to get into the workings of mGTD and break it. Or am I missing something?
Re: How do I install CKEditor?
Has anybody heard a rough ETA on CKEditor 3.0 w/ mediawiki integration?
Cheers, Alan
Re: How do I install CKEditor?
Never.
CKEditor 3.x with MediaWiki?
I think that the last I heard was planned for or just after 3.1, but I might be wrong.
Anyway, first the final 3.0 must be released, and there are still some polish required there.
