Before the editor is created, it's possible to set the value using something like this:
fck.Value = document.getElementById(id_being_fcked).innerHTML;
Is there a way to do this once the editor is created? A function exists for GETTING the value (.GetHTML) but I can't find one to set.

It only works once the editor is fully instantiated, so don't expect to issue an editor.Create() directly followed by an editor.SetHTML() - there's a special function - FCKeditorOnComplete(editor) that you can define to do that. See the editor API docs or previous threads in the forum if you need to know how to do that...
