How can I prevent FCKeditor from changing my href quote type

Whenever I enter a link, even in HTML Source view, FCKeditor always converts the HTML of the href from an apostrophe to a double quote. For example, I am trying to enter this link <a href='google.com'>Google</a> but it gets converted to <a href="google.com">Google</a> which is a real problem for me.

Hey, i am having the exact same problem!!!! can anyone pleeeaassseee help with this problem.... all i want is to be able to have my apostrophe's when i want them!!!!!
