How can I automatically add a paragraf format to ordered lists?

How can I automatically add a paragraf format to the <li> when an <ol> or <ul> is created?

Or can I make it add automatically a <span>, like:

<ol>

  <li> <span> text </span> </li>

  <li> <span> text </span> </li>

</ol>
