Is the bug wrt:
http://wiki.fckeditor.net/Troubleshooti ... ab9d551417
"When putting the editor in a hidden DIV on Gecko, the editor stops working. How can I solve it?"
going to be fixed?
I am using Fck in various XSLT sheets and XForms (via Chiba) where I wish to show do documentation which is in the form of XHTML fragments within a greater XML document.
For clarity I have the XHTML displayed as such and an "Edit" link which then makes the XHTML (in a std div/span) hidden & instead shows the (previously hidden) textarea to which fck is attached.
I have changed some javascript so that when the editor gets focus it calls :
if (editor && editor.EditorDocument && editor.EditMode == FCK_EDITMODE_WYSIWYG) {
editor.SwitchEditMode();
editor.SwitchEditMode();
}
As per the wiki and it works but then the size of the editor pane is always set to exactly how much html/text there is in the editor/textarea or 1 line if the textarea is empty.
Tiny_MCE does not seem to have this problem.
So...
A) Is this bug going to be fixed?
B) How do I lodge it as a bug &/or (if already registered) help to push it up the bug importance list?
TIA
Adam
