Help with link properties in Image / File browser

I'm still new to FCKeditor, so bear with me...

Yesterday I set this up and I had some problems getting the Image and File browser to work properly, until I found this suggestion: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1312834&group_id=75348&atid=543655

Now it seems to work properly and if I want to insert an image or make a link with the browser, it will see the proper folders of my site, etc. But there is still one problem - when I go to actually make the link by clicking on the file I want the URL to link to, the properties of the link automatically change from http:// to "other" and it does not include the base URL for my link at all. Now, if I manually type it in everything is fine. But I shouldn't have to do that. How can I get the Image / File browser to recognize my base URL (i.e. http://www.mysite.com) to be the beginning of the link? I am using the ASP connector by the way. Thanks.
