Hi all,
I defined a ProtectedTag in my config file. Here is an example whic I will refer to below:
<cf style="text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 1px dashed; color: green;" cf-name="joe" cf-value="cash">coffee</cf>
If I load some content that has this tag into a textarea and then do the replaceTextArea method, the custom <cf> tags show up fine in FCKeditor. Also, if I switch to the source view and add one manually to the inner text, it shows up fine when I switch back to the body view. (by reclicking Source button)
The problem shows up when I want to allow users to create a tag through a toolbar button and a plugin dialog. No matter what I've tried, FCKeditor mangles my tags.
If I use insertHtml or set innerHTML directly, it removes the <cf> and </cf> tags and only inserts "coffee" in the body. So then I tried using FCK.EditorDocument.selection.createRange().pasteHTML. FCKeditor put my tag into the body this time and change the angle brackets to ≤ and >. This is not what I had in mind either.
Does anyone know of a solution for this problem? I am using the javascript version of FCKeditor.
Thanks in Advance
