Good morning list,
I need to be able to get the HTML of the text that is typed into the editor using JavaScript.
The page I am building does not have a submit method on the form as it is part of a much bigger form, this I want to extract the HTML and store it elsewhere using JavaScript.
Can anyone help with this? I have seen lots of posts about using objContent but cannot seem to make it work.
TIA, Russell

RE: Get HTML of text in editor through JavaScript
RE: Get HTML of text in editor through JavaSc
Example:
var fck = FCKeditorAPI.GetInstance('FCKeditor1');
alert(fck.GetHTML());
fck.SetHTML('New content of editor');
RE: Get HTML of text in editor through JavaSc
It seems that the FCKeditorAPI instance isn't available in rc3.
So, is there another method to acces dynamically the edited content of fckeditor through javascript?
Thanks!
