I'm using Windows XP with Office installed but not Frontpage. If I cancel through the prompts to install, all seems to work fine. I'm just wondering how I can stop the prompts without needinga frontpage CD.
The editor is base on the MS DHTML Editing Component that comes with IE 5+. Do you have Office or FrontPage installed on your system? Probably some other component is needed on your system to run the editor (this is a typical Office issue, called active installation so thinks are installed only when they are needed I hate it).
Dont worry. Im sure that the editor is not trying to install FrontPage. It cant do that and it doesnt need it. Maybe you system just needs some component.
For now, to solve the problem: "Insert your Front Page CD on drive X: and press Enter"
