Hi all,
I've noticed that, if the user is editing the source directly, any call to FCKeditorAPI.GetHTML does not format the HTML first - i.e., if a user has typed in the source:
hello
<br>
goodbye
Then GetHTML returns this text exactly. However, if you switch to normal editing mode first, some code runs somewhere which formats the HTML by putting <p> tags in and converting tags with no matching end tags to a self-terminating tag, e.g. <br />
I'd like to run this code automatically before calling GetHTML, to make sure that the return from GetHTML is well-formatted XML.
Does anyone know what the function is that does this massaging?
Thanks,
Simon
