Format command in plugin

Hello, I want to create a couple of buttons that apply formating in the same way the format combo does - i.e. a H1 button that will format the block as a h1 in the same way the format command does.

Is there a way I can apply the same code as the format combo does?

yes of course, you just need to recreate it with your parameters.

Check the source code to find out how it's done. Sorry, there might not be better documentation.

This does the job:

FCK.ExecuteNamedCommand( 'FormatBlock', '<h1>' ) ;
FCK.ExecuteNamedCommand( 'FormatBlock', '<p>' ) ;
