Hi,
I know there have been a few posts regarding changing font tags to span or div tags, but that's not my issue. I don't have a problem with font size tags or font color tags, just font face. For some reason, the editor likes to throw in a bunch of font face tags that aren't necessary.
For example:
<li><font face="Arial">Text</font></li>
<li><font face="Arial">Text</font></li>
<li><font face="Arial">Text</font></li>
<li><font face="Arial">Text</font></li>
Does anyone know why the editor does this? And more importantly how to stop it doing this? I was using a regex to clean it up, but then I ran into problems when font was used with other attributes, it was too hard (for me anyway) to figure out which closing font tags to remove. So I am a bit stuck, any help would be hugely appreciated.
I don't want to change them to anything else, would rather remove them completely. Although if someone had an idea as to how to change them instead, I would be open to that too.
Thanks in advance!
