I hope someone out there can help. I'm having an issue where the editor displays correctly and all, but fails to Word Wrap when it gets to the end of the Text editor box. Instead of wrapping, the scroll bar enables and it just keeps typing unless I do a hard return.
I then looked through the forums and someone said to put "word-wrap:break-word;" in the CSS file. So I went into the default CSS file for the edtior which is the "fck_editorarea.css" file, made changes to the body section as follows:
body
{
background-color: #ffffff;
padding: 5px 5px 5px 5px;
margin: 0px;
word-wrap:break-word;
}
body, td
{
font-family: Arial, Verdana, sans-serif;
font-size: 12px;
}
a[href]
{
color: -moz-hyperlinktext !important; /* For Firefox... mark as important, otherwise it becomes black */
text-decoration: -moz-anchor-decoration; /* For Firefox 3, otherwise no underline will be used */
}
So after making that change, the editor does indeed wrap the way it should. HOWEVER, sine I'm passing the information from this form element to the next page, it seems to be breaking something in the code that it passes to the next page. I know this is something to do with the "word-wrap:break-word;" because when I take that out of the CSS the output behaves fine and wraps normally. Am I putting the word-wrap in the wrong place of the css file? Any thing you guys suggest would be great. Thanks.
