FckEditor - DNN Installation Mess

Hi there,
I upgraded my version of the FckEditor within my DotNetNuke Installation. I clearly did not complete the upgrade properly because thereafter DNN started throwing up errors saying it had failed to load certain Fck related Types. I had no backout plan in place and I have now totally ruined the FckEditor install after trying to fix the issue. I no longer have a clear idea of the steps I have taken to get to the point that I am at now. Consequently...

Can anyone point me in the direction of clear instructions on how to do a completely fresh FckEditor install which will work for DNN version 04.08.00.

Any advice would be much appreciated as I have got myself into a real pickle .
