FCkEditor not loading in firefox 3.0.11 -works in chrome and

I have searched on forums and bugs and generally on the internet but could not find a solution to my problem. I am using FCKeditor for development on my machine. FCKEditor does not appear in firefox 3.0.11. The error console shows

Error: FCKConfig.CustomConfigurationsPath is undefined

ContexMenu is undefined ... C is undefined ...

FCKEditor installation is fine because I can load FCKeditor in google Chrome and IE (8.0). I am using a local machine apache to serve files so there are no issues related to local file loading in FF3 as well. I have tried clearing cache from FF3 as well as using CCleaner, but the problem remains.

However if I switch the application alias in apache( like change the webgloo alias above to /xwebgloo) and try to load the page from a different URL then it works for some time and then again FCKEditor disappears.

I would appreciate help from anyone in troubleshooting this issue.
