Hi,
I have an issue that I am trying to resolve with an email editor I'm trying to fix. In Firefox(3.0.3), the value of the text in FCKeditor is not being passed to the form's action page. When I step through the Form.Request items, I get the Key(of FCKEditor1), but with an empty Value. Everything works great in IE. I am using the ASP version of the tool (2.6). I am also using the form to pass along other info, and those values gets passed just fine. Any ideas?
I tried getting document.getElementById('FCKEditor1').value right before submitting the form, but that returns blank (not undefined) in both IE and Firefox. Should there be a value in there? Am I looking in the wrong place? Also, the demos works just fine, but I don't really see any difference between the demo and my version which would cause this issue.
I just checked Firefox's error console and there is an error in one of my plugins saying "FCK.EditorDocument.CreateTreeWalker" is not a function. Could this cause the problem I'm having? It is in a non-ie section only, so it looks like this will likely be the cause. I believe I just copied the plugin from an example(placeholder) and made changes. This error occurs on load of the page, and all of the plugins still work as intended.
Here is the code for that (it's in a redraw function that it is creating):
var oInteractor = FCK.EditorDocument.CreateTreeWalker(FCK.EditorDocument.body, NodeFilter.SHOW_TEXT, proMergeData._AcceptNode, true);
var aNodes = new Array();
while((oNode = oInteractor.nextNode())){
aNodes[aNodes.length] = oNode;
}
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
