Hi. I'm using dreamweaver and the "update record' server behavior to update a MySQL database.
What I would like to do is be able to format text in the FCK editor and then submit the code to update a field in the database.
So far I can get the editor on the page and populate it with the text that I would like to update from the database, however when I use the dreamweaver update record server behavior it requires a form field to use to update the database and there is nothing to enter for the FCKeditor.
Is there a way to assign a form id to the editor just as if it were a normal text area? For example if I use a normal text area on the update form and make the initial value something from my recordset, I can change the text and hit submit to update that field in the database. I want to do the same thing with the editor in place of a text area.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Please let me know if you require any further information.
George
