FCKeditor problems with imageupload

I'm using FCKeditor on a php enabled site. I have configured the editor so it _should_ have php connectors enabled for Image/Link browsing and Uploading. However when I try browse the server I get an error stating that the connectors are not enable(note, in the file it states to check to ensure they are enabled the correct values are set to 'true').

I have no idea why it will not work, the same configuration worked(well there was another problem but that's a different matter) on my local machine, but on uploading it doesn't work.

Any ideas?
