FCKeditor 2 not working on IE

Hello all,

I seem to be getting the opposite problem with version 2 of the editor - it works great in Mozilla (Firefox 0.8) on both Linux and Windows, but Internet Explorer (v5.5) refuses to work: "Error: Object doesn't support this property or method; Code: 0".

I tried version 1.6 of the FCKeditor and got pretty much the opposite effect: IE works, Mozilla doesn't (just see the textareas).

Can anyone offer any help?

yes, I had met such problem.
It seems that FCKeditor 2.0 have to execute within IE 6.0.

that error sounds like a straight Javascript one. Might be that you're using IE 5.5, rather thanIE6...

Yup - that looks like the problem. IE 5.5 has worked for me fine and so I'd never bothered to upgrade to IE6. Tried in IE6 on a different machine and it worked. So I guess I'll have to install IE6.
