Has anyone experienced an issue with Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition and fckpackager.exe being quarantined as a backdoor.trojan? We started having problems with the 5/11/2008 rev3 and newer definitions (SAV CE 10.1.60000). This has happened to us on multiple systems and multiple environments. The file wasn't quarantined on systems using other AV packages we tested. Likely a false positive, but just checking to see if anyone else has experienced a similar event.

Re: FCKPackager.Exe and Symantec Antivirus
I got our IT guys to download the exe, but BitDefender is so aggressive I can't copy it from the network drive onto my PC, even when the '.exe' is renamed to '.txt' !!!
The business Client software does not allow me to over-ride any settings, so I'm struggling.
I suggest registering fckpackager.exe with a few more of the commonly used anti-virus vendors.

Re: FCKPackager.Exe and Symantec Antivirus
Success!!!!!
I gave up trying to get run the EXE and had a look at the PHP.
It was dead easy!
The only thing I'd suggest is updating http://www.fckeditor.net/fckpackager to include info on which version of PHP is neeeded and where to get it.
I got mine from http://www.php.net/downloads.php and went for 'PHP 5.2.6 installer'
Re: FCKPackager.Exe and Symantec Antivirus
Nothing is ever simple!!!!!
The PHP fckpackager downloaded from http://www.fckeditor.net/fckpackager has not incorporated ticket 2185 (FCKPackager incorrectly adds semicolons after functions passed as an argument to another function.)
The downloadable packager needs updating!
For the moment, ticket 2185 documents a workaround which I'm trying out.
Re: FCKPackager.Exe and Symantec Antivirus
I've just updated the PHP and EXE files:
http://dev.fckeditor.net/changeset/2078
Thanks for the advice.
