Having an issue with FCKEditor (v2.6.x) not showing in IE6/IE7... works under FF3 ... does not work in Chrome... when we deploy our web application to our production server (3 server web farm).
here's how we defined the control as defined in the aspx page (running under .NET 3.5 framework, VS2008) not that I think this matters.
<%@ Register assembly="FredCK.FCKeditorV2" namespace="FredCK.FCKeditorV2" tagprefix="FCKeditorV2" %>
.
.
<FCKeditorV2:FCKeditor ID="FCKeditor" runat="server" BasePath="~/fckeditor/" ToolbarSet="MyToolBarDefault" Height="500" ></FCKeditorV2:FCKeditor>
.
.
The FCK Editor displays correctly when we publish to our staging server/environment... but when we deploy/publish to our production web farm... the web page that contains the above control issues 9 errors... the first of which is "Syntax error in regular expression" pointing to http://.../fckeditor/editor/fckeditor.html?...
The other errors are more towards 'FCKConfig' is undefined along with 'FCKBrowserInfo' etc. Makes no sense since the application publishes without issue to our staging environment and even our production environment works with FF3. It appears to be possibly related to how IE7 is trying to resolve paths to FCKEditor... but just gusessing at this point.
I also compared the page source between the staging and production enviroments and it is the same...
Anyone with any ideas.
Thanks

Re: FCKEditor not displaying in IE7
Use a debugging HTTP proxy to see what requests are failing (e.g. http://www.charlesproxy.com/).
Re: FCKEditor not displaying in IE7
Downloaded Charles and according to the information presented in the sequence andstructure tabs, no requests failed to complete. I doubled checked the fckeditor related entries and everything appears OK.
Are the page errors shown elsewhere in Charles?
