FCKEditor on Windows/PHP

For testing purposes I installed FCKEditor 2.1.1. local on Apache 2.0.55, PHP 4.4.2-dev, Windows XP pro. An earlier installation on Unix was no problem, all PHP samples worked out of the box. Under Windows however, nothing happens, none of the PHP sample pages post data to this sampleposteddata.php page. No error messages either. If anyone could give me a clue as to where to start looking for a solution, I would be most grateful, because I am stuck
