FCKEditor Uploading Image Problems with XOOPS

I downloaded the FCKEditor integration pack for XOOPS from their site. Everything seemed to work fine except for the fact that when I try to upload images from my desktop nothing happens. It just hangs. I don't even get an error message. The files are small, about 100k jpegs and gif images. I'm running XOOPS 2.0.7 on Apache 1.3.31 PHP 4.3.7 and MySQL 4.0.2
