Hi.
I have been struggling to setup FCKEditor on my web application for quit a while now and stumbled accros this forum.
I have referenced the FredCK.FCKeditorV2.dll from this applications bin directory.
I have setup FCKEditor within a sub folder on my website (a virtual ASP.NET application) and in my page_load on one of the pages I would like to use the editor, I have written the following in the page_load:
this.FCKeditor1.BasePath = "~/fckeditor/";
this.FCKeditor1.Height = 500;
this.FCKeditor1.ImageBrowserURL = "/Blog/BlogPictures/";
In the Config.ascx file I have both tried to return true and also tried to implement some sort of authentication like:
if (HttpContext.Current.User.Identity.IsAuthenticated)
return true;
else
return false;
Everyting seems to work in terms of the editor loading and displaying ok, I can paste in some text and save it to a database, but that's it.
When I try to upload images I get the trouble.
Either I receive en error:
'The server didn't reply with a proper XML data. Please check your configuration.'
And if I enable file browsing for that particular folder, I see a generic list (empty), but no resource browser allowing me to upload images and create new folders.
Anyone have any experience setting this up for ASP.NET?
Thanks in advence!

Best regards

Re: FCKEditor - Resource browser doesn't work
I found the solutin to this problem.
It was related to the ImageBrowserURL which should be changed to UserFilesPath.
Everything work fine now.
