FCK adding HTML to the source

I've got FCK set up in Drupal and when I go to preview my document, it tends to add paragraph tags where I don't want them to be added. Either for spacing, or just to put tags around a sentence. Is there a way to stop this?

Try changing in fckconfig.js "p" to "br".

FCKConfig.EnterMode = 'p' ;         // p | div | br
FCKConfig.ShiftEnterMode = 'br' ;   // p | div | br
