Extra <br /> tags added to table

Hi,

Tables created within FCK Editor seem to have lots of
break tags :

<table cellspacing="1" cellpadding="1" width="200"
border="1"><br />
<tbody><br />
<tr><br />
<td>&nbsp;</td><br />
<td>&nbsp;</td><br />
</tr><br />
<tr><br />
<td><img height="285" alt=""
src="http://bla.com/3.jpg" width="140" /></td><br />
<td>&nbsp;</td><br />
</tr><br />
<tr><br />
<td>&nbsp;</td><br />
<td>&nbsp;</td><br />
</tr><br />
</tbody><br />
</table>

This then creates a huge gap above the table when
viewing the webpage.

Using IE6.

Any ideas
