Enter Mode <br> problem in Firefox and Chrome. No problem i

Hi All

I am using the latest stable FCKeditor 2.6.4 on Drupal 6.10.

When I select <br> for Enter Mode,
FCKeditor inserts a <br /> tag in the contents (even thought nothing
has been entered into the contents yet) when I use Firefox.
When I use Google's Chrome, it inserts a &nbsp; even when nothing has been entered.
When I use Internet Explorer 7, there is no problem. The contents page is empty as it should
be (since nothing has been entered).

This is causing problem to Drupal.

Is there a fix to this?
