Hi,
I'm rather new to FCKEditor although I have worked with a similar product a few years ago. I'm exploring FCKEditor to see if I can fit it into my application. Until now I used textarea's to enter text. These area's are rather small (60x4 rows) because I don't have much space. I already succeeded in making an FCKEditor box of the same size using the 'Basic' toolbar. However, I would like to have an option to enlarge the editor-field into a full-screen popup to have a larger input area. When this popup is closed, the text has to be transferred to the smaller area again. Is this possible and, if so, how can this be done?
Help is much appreciated!

RE: Enlarging Editor Window
I am using FCKeditor to replace HTMLarea. One of the things I found very useful in HTMLarea was the ability to press a button on the toolbar and have it launch a larger editor window. When I was done editing, I could press the button again and it would shrink back down to the original editor.
Is there a way to do this with FCKeditor?
Thanks.
RE: Enlarging Editor Window
yeah, that is a great feature of htmlarea. who's working on it?
RE: Enlarging Editor Window
Pass it the field name, x/y size unzoomed and x/y size zoomed.
function fckZoom(fldName, x1, y1, x2, y2) {
var obj = document.getElementById(fldName + '___Frame');
// if already zoomed, unzoom to x1 y1
if ((obj.style.width == x2 || obj.style.width == x2 + "px") && (obj.style.height == y2 || obj.style.height == y2 + "px")) {
obj.style.width = x1;
obj.style.height = y1;
}
else { // else zoom to x2 y2 dimension
obj.style.width = x2;
obj.style.height = y2;
}
return;
}
