Editor styling disappears when postback link is clicked

Hi there

I'm using ckEditor in a modified version of the BugNET system. The editor works fine but whenever a link on the page (that prompts a postback) is cliked,
the editor loses all styling so it looks like this



but the instant the postback link is clicked (before the request is completed or the response is received) it changes to this



Any ideas? I'm really pulling my hair out on this one.
