Yes, I realize it works in IE 6 because I can use the demo on this site using IE 6.... that's why I think I've missed something or mistakingly changed something... anyone have any idea where i may have messed up?
It's possibly the /../ part of the GET request. / would take you to root ... then ../ is trying to take you one level BELOW root. If you're trying to call FCK from within a subfolder, just drop the initial / so you're specifying a path relative to the CURRENT one rather than root.

For anyone who cares, this is what I did:
Switched this: $oFCKeditor->BasePath = '/../fckeditor/';
To this: $oFCKeditor->BasePath = '../fckeditor/';
and voila... it works! Now I do that dance of joy!!
