Edit sections of a page.

Hi finally, after many hours of researching on how, I have this thing working-but only on the whole page itself. The documentation does leave a lot to be desired. My questions is how do I go about just making fckeditor edit just portions of a page as editing the whole page is cutting out code and leaving the browser rendering faulty. Using the php part and easykiss123.com's install advice. Thanks by the way. Mahalo!
