I'm just testing FSKeditor in a Servlet/Velocity environment for use in a cms. In a servlet I construct the editor this way:
public String getEditor() {
FCKeditor editor = new FCKeditor(servletRequest, name);
if (field != null)
editor.setValue(field.getValue());
editor.setBasePath("/FCKEDITOR/");
return editor.create();
}
This works fine and as expected. My cms should handle different web-sites. So I need to initialize fckeditor with different fckconfig.js dynamically in getEditor(). I've tried to do it that way (before the return statement):
editor.getConfig().put("CustomConfigurationsPath", "[path]/fskconfig.js"));
But now it seems, that the editor won't be created (or crashed?).
Is that the right way to change the editor's preference dynamically in general? Whats your prefered way to do this?
I'm using FCKeditor-2.0b2-1.0b2.
Any hints are welcome,
cheers,
Thilo
BTW: Nice work!
