Does FCKeditor Support Assistive Technology For Disabled Use

To be completely honest I don't know the answer to your question, but I'm assuming that screen readers like that read elements of the page to determine what is spoken or read to the user. The FCKeditor is basically just a web page that the user interacts with so as long is the reader reads the browser correctly it should work. Unfortunately I really don't know the answer but I hope this may help.

Currently I think that Jaws users might get a not too pleasant experience with FCKeditor, but the reality is that in order to provide proper support for it or any other AT, one of the most important things is that users themselves should help us with the specific problems that must be fixed.

It has no sense to say "hey, let's redo everything so it's perfect", but at the same time only guess what does it mean and what is the best way to help those users.

So the answer is: test it yourself (I don't have Jaws and I wouldn't even know how to use it properly) and then start reporting the things that should be fixed.
