Does FCKEditor have support to xhtml

Hi
i'm starting with FCKEditor and i want to know if it support XHTML, i'm using C#-ASP.NET.

My clients are using it to edit text in anyway they want but when it goes to database it doesn't go on that format.When it is retrieved from database to gridview it comes on text format, without all the configuration they have done to the text.

Is there someway i can make the text goes to database like they have posted?
