So I downloaded the editor, I'm really excited, but having problems actually getting it to show all I see is a textarea.
I'm going with the setup where I have a textarea turned into a Fckeditor. From the samples and testcases, I came up with this code.
<head>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/fckeditor/fckeditor.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
window.onload = function()
{
var oFCKeditor = new FCKeditor( 'name_of_textarea_to_convert' ) ;
oFCKeditor.BasePath = '/fckeditor/fckeditor.js' ;
oFCKeditor.ReplaceTextarea() ;
}
</script>
</head>
<body>
<form name="form1" method="post" action="">
<textarea name="name_of_textarea_to_convert">hokay</textarea>
</form>
</body>
I have the fckeditor folder in the root so http://website.com/fckeditor/ gives you that folder. That folder is the main one you get after downloading with _samples and editor folders and all the other JS and css stuff.
I'm guessing that my basepath is messed, but I've tried a number of combinations. What am I getting wrong?
