Hello,
I've been running an online forum that I built in ColdFusion, and just upgraded to CF8, so I am now using FCKeditor for the readers' textarea input.
One problem we've encountered, that I haven't found an answer for: When readers paste HTML code into their entry (such as a YouTube embed), and submit it to the forum, the page displays the raw code, not the rendered HTML.
Now if they hit the edit link and return to the FCKeditor window, the code renders within FCKeditor... and the code renders properly on the forum page after they hit "submit" on the editing page.
How can I get entered HTML code to render the first time, without having to run the code through FCKeditor a second time? (We never had this problem on the forum when we used straight-up, traditional textarea fields. Of course, readers had to hard-code everything, then, so many folks didn't like that.)
Any leads on how to modify fckconfig.js, or anything else that I can do to workaround this issue? Help greatly appreciated, of course.
Thank you.
