Is there a way to automatically disable converting <, > and " to <, > and " when you paste it into the editor?
The reason I want to do this is so I can paste code into the editor (not in code view) without getting the tags coverted to something like this: <href = "link">
I thought I figured it out as I found this code in fckeditor.js
FCKeditor.prototype._HTMLEncode = function( text )
{
if ( typeof( text ) != "string" )
text = text.toString() ;
text = text.replace(/&/g, "&") ;
//text = text.replace(/"/g, """) ;
//text = text.replace(/</g, "<") ;
//text = text.replace(/>/g, ">") ;
text = text.replace(/'/g, "'") ;
return text ;
}
You can see where I tried to comment out the code but this didnt seem to work....
