I'm interested in using FCKEditor for my Java Servlet application. I offer the application as a hosted service. My servers each have several hundred virtual hosts, with each virtual host running an instance of my application.
Would it be required to install the FCK files in each virtual host, or could I setup one generic editor on each server, and have each virtual host reference the fckeditor support files running in the default context of the default server? IOW, can I have the context/vhost customer.mydomain.com reference FCK Editor support files from server1.mydomain.com?
I'm really concerned about having to deploy multiple hundreds of instances of the FCK Editor java application files on my servers.
If sharing one fckeditor context is supported, are there any drawbacks?
