I've noticed that the new "Quick Upload" option doesn't really give you an option to set a path for the upload other than a hard-coded path in the config file. What I've attempted to do is set a path via a URL option such as this:
FCKConfig.ImageUploadURL = FCKConfig.BasePath + 'filemanager/upload/php/upload.php?Type=images&uploadpath=/assets/' ;
Then I modified the upload.php file to look for the uploadpath variable via a $_GET statement similar to the Type variable. Plus, I modified the script so that it uploads a file based on Type (ie. images in the images folder, flash in the flash folder, etc). This works great if the ImageUploadURL parameter stays in the fckconfig.js file...but if I try setting a custom parameter for ImageUploadURL in the call to FCKeditor then I somehow loose the settings altogether and nothing happens when I click on the "Send it to the server" button.
What I think needs to happen is a modification to this functionality that allows for paths to be set either in the fckeditor.js file or within the call to FCKeditor itself. The variable could be called ImageUploadPath or the like. The same would applie to Link and Flash uploads as well. Otherwise...there's no control over where the files go other than the static setting in the config file for quick uploads...not good!
Thanks in advance! Keep up the great work!
