Hi all,
I've been playing around with FCKeditor to see it it can solve one of current problems. It's a fantastic piece of software, no doubt, but I've come across the following "feature": given the same piece of text, formated in exactly the same way, the contents of the field when the submit button is hit varies depending on the browser. In other words, if you enter the exact same text, with the exact same formatting, in FF and IE, the result is different... Since I need to process the submitted text, and I have no control on what browser the user has chosen, I'm faced with a serious problem... Any suggestions? Many thanks,
Paulo

RE: Cross browser uniformity of submitted con
One of the solutions is to prepare a set of CSS styles in fckstyles.xml file and format text only with them, first making sure about correct display in both browsers. Just a thought... I'm pretty new to FCKEditor - maybe there are more experienced users who have a simplier solution.
