Hi All,
This relates to issue 1990. See: http://dev.fckeditor.net/ticket/1990
I recently upgraded to FCKEditor 2.6.3 specifically to resolve the issues of the cursor position when inserting into the editor using IE7. For most cases this seems to work fine now. Thanks!
In one case the image is inserted at the top of the text - not at the cursor position. The only difference I can see from my code is that my call to do the InsertHtml is called from a button outside the editor control.
The reason for this other button is that the user needs to select an image which we open in their image editing software to annotate - then when they save we upload and insert the modified image into the editor. So I think the issue really stems from the fact that we are doing this outside the normal plugin architecture.
SO.
Is it possible to create a plugin which displays a select type of control on the toolbar instead of a simple image button? OR is there any known work around to my problem?
See ATTACHED.
Unzip 2.6.3 into a folder and unzip the attached file into that folder. Enter some text and place the cursor in-between paragraphs. Click the text that says: "Upload and attach" and you'll see that it does not insert at the cursor position.
Any ideas?
TIA
